On Monday we had a wonderful holiday together. We went to Vacaville, to the Fiesta Days fair. There was an amazing castle-themed park/play structure that we climbed on first. My little Ephraim needed to make all the tic-tac-toe pieces into Os before we left. He made me laugh! At least someone else likes things neat and organized around here besides me! :)
There were some rides Ephraim was too short to ride, and there were some that Gabriel was too big to ride. Here is Ephraim riding the dragon roller coaster. He had a huge smile the whole time.
And a race car.
They both got to go down the giant slide.
The park had a huge dragon to climb.
I got a new hat that my friend Vincent bought for me. I am ready for summer.
My grown-up boy is teaching the Family Home Evening lesson--he came up with the idea, cut out the figures from the magazine by himself, and taught us the story of Moses.
Both boys got new shoes over the weekend. Gabriel got his first pair of tie shoes. We spent tonight practicing how to tie them. He was so patient and proud of himself! Such a milestone!

Fun - Part 1
My loving Gabriel!
We got a new bag of sand for our sandbox, new sand toys, and an inflatable pool!
My little flexible boy.
Sometimes big brother's book is more interesting.
Ephraim pretended to be a praying mantis and ate this butterfly (snap peas). eeeewww!
"The Lego Moove" (aka The Lego Movie)
We went to Julia's graduation party. What a wonderful momentous occasion! Fun party favors!
Gabriel has been climbing the walls, literally, with his hands and feet braced on opposite walls. When he showed me this feat, I had to capture it!! What an athlete!!

Month of May
I had a wonderful Mother's Day! I had my mom (and dad) over
for dinner. My dad BBQ'd ribs, my friend Vincent made brussel sprouts with
pine nuts and bacon bits, and I made homemade bread rolls and fruit salad and dark chocolate brownies from scratch for dessert. Naturally the boys had to test the batter to make sure the chocolate was yummy.
The blue Link and the green Link, adventuring together.
Gabriel tries on his new jacket and poses with my friend Vincent.
Two awesome boys help me go grocery shopping.
Gabriel insisted on giving me a new hair style last night. You can't see it all, but it was three pony tails.
