We finally used the wading pool that we got for Gabriel's birthday. He has splashed in shallow pans in the house and in the bathtub before, but this was something new. Besides, he got a set of swimming trunks for his birthday and we had to try them out.

That pool is neat. Is it hard or soft plastic? What a happy and cute little kid you have there!
It's just the hard plastic kind - $8 at Toys R Us. The hose was the real highlight for Gabriel, not the pool! :)
The good ole days of summer ... he looks tickled to be in the pool and it's easy to see the hose has his interest more than the outside "bathtub". Maybe he needs more toys that are just pool toys so he can easily tell the difference between playing in the tub versus a pool. Love to all of you,
