Super 5 !
My super Gabriel turns 5 on Thursday!
We had a small birthday party for him at my parent's house on Saturday. The super hero theme was a hit! Thanks to Everett and John and Megahn for dressing up!

The animated birthday boy! My dad made an awesome Spiderman birthday cake (chocolate cake with strawberry ice cream frosting with chocolate syrup webbing).

Grandma and Grandpa Gunn and Uncle Tony sent a package for us. We got it today and opened it. We had to stay home from church because Ephraim is on his second day of a terrible cold, but it was good timing to pick up the package from the apartment office so we had something exciting to do today. Even Ephraim got a present.
Thanks for all the presents, everyone. The Legos are a huge hit!! He got a firetruck and ambulance and put them both together today. I can't believe he is old enough and patient enough for Legos! He also got really cool kites, which will be perfect after we move to Pinole (it gets windy there).

The pictures of Gabriel's birthday are so cute. That birthday cake, what an awesome idea!! Your Dad is really creative and talented.
So now that you are moved to Pinole, has it been windy enough and have you had time to fly his birthday kite yet?
Glad to know legos are a big hit with Gabriel, gives us a few ideas for Christmas presents. (lol)
We saw a lego scene at the CO State Fair. It was a castle, surrounding country with knights and peasants, plus a sailing ship. Mounted on a 3x3 ft board. Some people set up detailed train sets, maybe Gabriel will set up detailed lego cities. (-:
