Thanksgiving

Paul's dad rented a cabin in South Lake Tahoe for Thanksgiving. Here we are enjoying the fire in the living room. It rained hard all day Wednesday on our drive up there. We saw it snow Thursday morning, but it melted before we ate breakfast. We came prepared to play in the snow and we were sad that there wasn't any snow, but we were grateful we didn't have to drive in it.

Gabriel found the light switch which was just at his height in the breakfast nook. He impressed us by talking more and saying "on" and "uff" every time he switched the lights. He enjoyed climbing up and down the stairs several times a day all weekend (he helped Rachel burn off those Thanksgiving calories!).

We had great views of the lake and forest.

That first picture is amazing! It looks like Christmas card material or even an ad for something.

Wow, Rachel, you are fast, I haven't even down loaded the pictures from my camera and you have yours on your blog already.

Thanksgiving in Tahoe really was awesome. We are so glad you were able to come and be a part of it. I just could not get enough of Gabriel. He is growing so fast, his personality, what a character he was. So full of energy, exploring, knew what he wanted most of the time, jabbered away and wasn't too shy around us. He was just a doll all weekend. I loved it when he would follow me into the master bedroom to explore, or let me hold his hand on one or two of his many trips up and down the stairs. And his laughter was so, so cute.

I was glad when you were able to sit down and relax during his naps, so you could be included in the games and discussions.

So, did you get back in time Saturday to meet with your real estate agent? Anything new to report?

Thank you for spending Thanksgiving with us, it was really wonderful.

Much Love,
Dad and Mom-Lisa
